Tell me about your Wardens, Hawkes and Inquisitors!
Share pics, share bios! Do you have a whole lengthy headcanon for them or just what appears in the game?
Do you play the same class of character each time (Warrior, Rogue, Mage?) or do you mix it up.

Katarin Cousland my Warden Queen. She's a human noble warrior (two-handed weapon). She's my 'canon' Warden. I actually really enjoyed playing her because in the beginning she was actually pretty resistant to being a Grey Warden. Duncan had to conscript her because she refused to leave her parents to die. So she was quite bitter at first and she grew into her role. Alistair helped with that. They were good for each other, really. He softened her a bit and she hardened him a bit so they were both kind of in the middle by the end.
Generally I go with the default appearance for Hawke so I don't have any pics. I play him/her as a dual weapon rogue with a sarcastic personality. I used to play Hawke as diplomatic until one of my Twitter friends told me to to try the sarcastic personality and I have never looked back since.
DAI is a different matter entirely. While I do have a 'canon' Inquisitor I am kind of ridiculously attached to all of them. They're all very different and I love them all

Anarlise Trevelyan. She is my 'canon' Inquisitor only in as much as she's the one I did everything first with (the main game, all the DLC and all the random annoying stuff that I don't usually bother with like the shards and the astrariums). She's a mage specialising as a Knight Enchanter and she romanced Cullen. She has a pretty diplomatic personality but she does support the Circles because that's where she grew up and it's home to her.

Venathras Lavellan. She's a rift mage who romanced Solas. She believes in free mages and freedom for elves. Freedom for everyone really. Again she's quite diplomatic though. Except when it comes to Solas ;)

Kildrik Cadash. He's a two-handed weapon Warrior who romanced Bull. He's a snarky and sarcastic asshole who was so much fun to play. He loves to fuck with Bull (and fuck Bull for that matter) and wasn't phased in the slightest by their relationship when it started. I believe the words were 'oh just take me already'.

Edeka Adaar. He's a necromancer (taught by Dorian) who romanced Dorian. Without going into spoilers for the DLC he is hands down the most tragic of all my Inquistors to date. I feel guilty about the amount of shit he had to deal with. Personality wise he's mostly diplomatic but tends to be a bit more snarky around Dorian because Dorian

Mansergh Lavellan. He's another knight enchanter (I seriously love this specialisation for mages) who is romancing Josephine. He's very diplomatic but very passionate about freedom for elves. He and Solas clash a lot because he feels Solas should be more involved with what's going on with the elves.

Arlishah Adaar. She's another knight enchanter (I like playing mages, okay!) who's romancing Sera. She's very practical and no-nonsense about most things. Stuff needs to be done so she does it.

Alec Trevelyan (yes, I know). He's an archer who is romancing Cassandra. He's the only one of my Inquisitors who genuinely believes he was chosen by Andraste. He always tries to do the right thing.
And not pictured is Hilda Cadash who is romancing Blackwall. I've only just started her game so I don't have any decent screenshots yet and I'm still figuring out her personality.
Please share yours! I love seeing pictures of other people's characters :D

Date: 2015-10-27 03:17 pm (UTC)From:I mentioned at the panel that I played each of the origin stories at least once (though the city elf only once), but my first playthrough is usually as a female mage human with red hair. Because if the game makers are going to let me play as a myself, I'm gonna. 8-)
Though I do sometimes build specific characters for specific run throughs (a big burly blonde male human two handed weapons warrior named
SteveStavros to romance Isabella and play as a twohanded warrior against the Arishok. He's stalled at the damn Boss level Ogre fight on the docks in the last act because I can't keep Merrill alive long enough to finish that fight and a pony-tailed brunette archer named Katie-Kate, yes, I am predictable, what?(I'm a console gamer, so no pics.) though I just realized, we had to replace our PS3 and I lost my saved games. Which means I get to play them all again! 8-D
