Voice Actors

What do you think of the DA voice actors? Have any of them inspired you to go and seek out other things they've done?

And, important question: who would voice your Warden if they remastered Origins and gave the playable character a voice?

I'm not one to fangirl over actual people -- I'm drawn more to characters than actors because you never truly know what the actor is like irl. But I did watch a bit of I'm in the Band with Steve Valentine -- it came out around the same time as DAO, iirc. It was some goofy kids' show, and I didn't like it very much, but he's a talented actor.

And I got really excited when Alastair Parker (Blackwall) was on Doctor Who recently. He's even a big, bearded guy irl.

All of them are very talented. I'm a huge fan of the American female VA's work in this game (Sumalee Montano). I just thought her voice was so strong and really had the power to make people follow her. Perfect for my Vhenan Lavellan. And then Alix Wilton Regan was awesome for Mirevas Lavellan. They each had their strong points. I haven't played a male Inquisitor to compare their VAs.

Really, there's not a single VA that I don't love.

Because I don't follow actors, it's hard for me to cast my Wardens. But I'd love to hear how other people would do it.

See, that's awesome. I'm probably weird that I don't fangirl over people, but being able to communicate with people who help create something so cool is pretty great. I don't have a twitter, and I'd have no idea what to say to someone like that. Hello, anxiety! But I think it's really cool that you talk to some of these guys.

And Steve Valentine has a lot of obscure little roles in a lot of things. Sometimes he just pops out of nowhere and I go ahhhhhhhhh!
